The cooperation between the "Resurs" Group of Agricultural Enterprises and the regional center for identifying, supporting, and developing the abilities and talents of children and youth in the Stavropol Krai, "Sirius 26," successfully initiated in 2023, continues. In the first quarter, a series of career guidance excursions to the Company's production facilities were conducted for teenagers attending the center.
In January, participants of the "Modern Energy" program visited the poultry farm in Mikhailovsk, a satellite city of Stavropol. Under the guidance of the program curator, the head of the electrical engineering laboratory, they learned about the structure of broiler chicken growing houses and the electrical equipment used to ensure this process.
The next excursion for "Sirius 26" students took place in February. The children visited the "Nevinnomyssky Meat and Poultry Processing Plant" branch of "Stavropol Broiler" LLC, where they familiarized themselves with the full production cycle: from the arrival of broiler chicks to the output of finished products in consumer packaging, which then goes to store shelves.
Another group of schoolchildren visited the incubator in Kochubeyevskoye village in early March. Despite the need to go through a series of strict procedures to comply with biosecurity requirements, the children were absolutely delighted to see with their own eyes how chicks are born, and even hold them in their hands.
As part of all events, GAP "Resurs" employees talk not only about specific production facilities, but also generally about professions that are in demand in modern agriculture, about development prospects for young specialists, and about the knowledge and skills that those planning to build their careers in the agro-industrial complex should acquire.
Olga Tomilina, Director of the "Sirius 26" Center: "We are very grateful to the "Resurs" Group of Agricultural Enterprises for their fruitful intellectual cooperation and creative approach to career guidance for talented schoolchildren in the Stavropol Krai."
