On February 25, the 97th absentee meeting of the National Council under the President of the Russian Federation for Professional Qualifications (NSPK) concluded. The National Council's work plan for 2026 was approved, conclusions were given on draft professional standards, new types of professional activities were assigned to the jurisdiction of the councils for professional qualifications (SPK), and other issues were considered.
The National Council approved the drafts of thirteen updated professional standards submitted for consideration by the Ministry of Labor of Russia.
These include "Master of industrial training for driving vehicles of relevant categories and subcategories", "Worker for the operation of measuring instruments and information-measuring systems of a power plant", "Worker for maintenance and repair of railway rolling stock", "Specialist in organizing train movement of railway transport" and others.
At the meeting of the National Council, decisions were made to amend the lists of types of professional activities (VPD) assigned to the jurisdiction of six councils for professional qualifications – SPK in the pulp and paper, furniture and woodworking industries (2 VPD), SPK in aircraft manufacturing (1 VPD), SPK in the mining and metallurgical complex (19 VPD), SPK in the shipbuilding and marine engineering industry (1), SPK of air transport (1 VPD), SPK of housing and communal services (1 VPD).
In addition, the National Council approved changes to the personal composition of ten professional qualification councils. In particular, the candidacy of Andrey Puchkov, General Director of JSC "United Shipbuilding Corporation", for the position of Chairman of the SPK in the shipbuilding and marine engineering industry was approved.
