The Ministry of Agriculture of Russia is launching the National Award "MediaPole" – for authors who talk about rural life in new media.
This is an updated format of the competition for information projects on rural topics. The award
is aimed at identifying and supporting bloggers and other media content creators about life in rural areas, as well as involving young people in creating quality content about opportunities for realization outside of cities.
Russian citizens over 18 years old can participate: bloggers, students, young specialists, and everyone who creates thematic media content on social networks, video hosting sites, and other online resources. Applications will be accepted until October 17.
Experts will select 100 finalists who will take part in a two-day educational program in Moscow, meet with famous bloggers and experts, and visit leading media centers in the country. Winners will receive diplomas, certificates, and gifts – the prize fund will be 4.5 million rubles.
