On October 15, a meeting of the Board of the Russian Union of Fishing Collective Farms (Rosrybkolkhozsoyuz), dedicated to its 40th anniversary, was held in the conference hall of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.
The meeting was attended by members of the Union - chairmen of fishing collective farms Oleg Tverdokhleb and Marina Seliverstova, representing the Kaliningrad and Arkhangelsk regions, Lidia Burkova, head of the legal department of the Arkhangelsk fishing collective farm "Sever", and Evgeny Kim – president of Daltransflot LLC, Khabarovsk. Yuri Anosov participated on behalf of Rosagropromsoyuz and the RSPP Committee on the Agro-Industrial Complex and Food Security.
The All-Russian Association of Fisheries Enterprises, Entrepreneurs and Exporters (VARPE), of which Rosrybkhozsoyuz is a member, was represented by Alexey Safronov.
Also present at the meeting were invited guests: State Duma deputy Nikolai Vasiliev – chairman of the subcommittee for the development of the fisheries complex of Russia of the State Duma Committee on Agrarian Issues; the Ministry of Agriculture and Rosrybolovstvo were represented, respectively, by Evgeny Kats – Director of the Department for Regulation in the Field of Fisheries and Aquaculture (Fish Farming), and Konstantin Dukin – Deputy Head of the Department for Fisheries Organization.
Nikolai Antonov, Director of the Department of Marine and Freshwater Fish of Russia, participated in the meeting on behalf of the “All-Union Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography” (FGBNU VNIRO).
Non-governmental, non-commercial, all-Russian organizations of the CCI of the Russian Federation and RSPP were represented, respectively, by Viktor Kirochkini - chairman of the subcommittee for the development of the fisheries complex, and Yuri Anosov - deputy chairman – executive secretary of the RSPP Commission on Agro-Industrial Complex.
After the welcoming speech by Andrey Anufriev, Chairman of the Board of Rosrybkhozsoyuz, letters of appreciation were presented to the Union's team from the Federation Council, the Ministry of Agriculture, Rosrybolovstvo, and a personal thank you from State Duma deputy Nikolai Vasiliev.
All agenda items were reviewed and commented on by the meeting participants, whose authority and professional relevance to the discussion topics allowed for the avoidance of sharp discussions and disputes, with a unanimous understanding of the urgent need to resolve the problems raised at this meeting by Rosrybkhozsoyuz.
