The All-Russian Scientific and Educational Forum "Promising Trends in Agrarian Education and Science" was held at Stavropol State Agrarian University, organized by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation. Representatives of the Rosagropromsoyuz directorate took part in the forum.

The event agenda was structured through the prism of human resources and scientific support for the country's agro-industrial complex, which is a strategic task of the national project "Technological Support for Food Security." During plenary discussions and round tables, forum participants developed a number of proposals for implementation in educational practice at all stages of the training trajectory for the agro-industrial complex within the framework of the transition to a new model of higher education in Russia: from an agrotechnological class to the career of a young enterprise specialist and scientist.

The key event of the forum was the plenary session "Rebooting Agrarian Education: Synergy of Science, Education, and Business" with the participation of the Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Oksana Lut, the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Valery Falkov, the Governor of the Stavropol Krai Vladimir Vladimirov, and the Chairman of the Duma of the Stavropol Krai Nikolay Velikdan.

The transition to an updated model of higher education and the strengthening of the role of business in the educational and research process have become an objective necessity. As Oksana Lut, Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, noted, this transformation is of particular importance for agricultural universities, which play a strategic role in ensuring food security, innovative development of rural areas, and training personnel for the agro-industrial complex.

Stavropol State Agrarian University is already actively implementing new approaches in the development of educational programs and scientific research, and has stable partnerships with businesses in the implementation of innovative projects. In addition, the university is an active participant in federal programs and projects such as "Personnel in the AIC," "World-Class Scientific Centers," "Priority-2030," and "Professionalitet." As the rector of SSAU, Vladimir Sitnikov, notes, the creation of unprecedented conditions for the development of student and young scientist potential at the university is due to the powerful and comprehensive support of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia, the Government of the Stavropol Krai, and the university's strategic partners. In the last year alone, more than 15,000 sq. m. have been updated and renovated at the university, including major repairs to the campus of the Institute of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology, the Institute of Economics, Finance and Management in the AIC, the Institute of Agrobiology and Natural Resources, and the dormitory fund, the university reports.
