A visiting meeting of the Public Council under the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia was held at the Timiryazev Academy, where topical issues of developing a number of areas of the agro-industrial complex were discussed. The event, which took place within the framework of "Golden Autumn", was attended by State Secretary - Deputy Minister Maxim Uvaidov, representatives of regional agro-industrial complex management bodies and public councils, as well as agricultural education, science and business. Representatives of Rosagropromsoyuz also took part in the meeting.

One of the key topics was the involvement of unused agricultural land in circulation. This year, regions are actively using mechanisms aimed at identifying and inventorying such plots, as well as accelerating their introduction into agricultural production. Special attention is paid to digital tools for land monitoring, which allow increasing the transparency and efficiency of working with agricultural land.

Separately, the meeting participants focused on the legislative regulation of interaction between agricultural producers and retail chains. As the Deputy Minister noted, it is necessary to build equal and long-term relationships between market participants, including ensuring fair terms of settlement and supply.

In addition, the meeting summarized the interim results of livestock farming, discussed state support measures, legislative innovations, and other topics. Following the meeting, the participants confirmed their readiness to continue systematic work on priority issues of industry development.
